LunarSea · 31/12/2020 09:38

Week ending 27/11

ExeterMummaMia · 31/12/2020 09:43

238 per 100,000
This is 89% increase in past week and a bit.

We've been tier 4 since Boxing Day.

Purplethrow · 01/01/2021 15:43

1149 per 100,000 , and it was obvious that people were mixing last night.

SpnBaby1967 · 01/01/2021 16:11

811, around 10,000 cases since March.

We were one of the towns with the lowest rates in the UK, a national newspaper even wrote a story about how our town was perfectly set up to weather the covid storm.

Then lockdown 2.0 came along, by mid december our numbers rocketed. Confining people to their homes in winter seems to work real well Hmm

borageforager · 01/01/2021 16:12

146 per 100,000. Just been moved in to tier 3.

mondaywine · 01/01/2021 16:13

136 and in Scotland so tier 4. Have f been below tier 3 in longer than I can remember. I don’t imagine we will be reduced at the next review on the 18th.

humtar · 01/01/2021 16:14

915 in my area, primary schools open on Monday!

If anyone wants to check the cases per 100k in their area or in the all the councils in their county, I have updated the table on www.covidmessenger.com with the govt. latest daily data release.

You probably noticed that cases and cases/100k dropped over 24th/25th/26th. That period is still being captured in the cases in the last week figures (as you can see in the screenshots above).

So for the majority of councils seeing rising cases, we would expect the 7 day cases and 7 day cases per 100K to step up once these 3 days are no longer being captured in the figures.

Which will be in about 4 days time when the 7 day period will be 27 Dec-31 Dec.

JaceLancs · 01/01/2021 16:55

Up from 211 the week before and 102 the week before that.

So rising very quickly.

Doing a comparison, last week's data and today's. North Kent. Very concerning with the under 60s data.
