Tight chest and coughing - negative cv test

So I had a bit on a blocked nose and sore throat sunday/Monday which lead to a cough.
I had a covid test Tuesday which came back negative yesterday.
I now have a dry cough and tight chest, don't feel ill at all, no temp.
Shall I just ride it out or book another test? Breathing feels a bit heavy but not a struggle.
Does anyone recommend a certain cough syrup for tight chest?

You could book another one but remember that all the usual winter bugs still exist so you might well have one of those.
