Just had an email from DS’s nursery to say that they have just been made aware of 3 positive cases in his room amongst staff and that he now needs to isolate as a result. This isolation period has been dated back to last Weds (16th).
As it stands, he’s only got to do 2 and a bit days of self-isolation now (I think it finishes on Christmas Day if you include the 16th as Day 1) and in the meantime, we’ve been to two supermarkets and also a park to play. Fortunately, we’ve not met up with anyone outdoors.
My DH has also been going to work as normal (he’s unable to WFH). Thankfully, my school were remote learning last week so I was teaching from home.
AIBU to think these positive cases should have come to light way before today? We could have unwittingly been putting people at risk as if my son does have COVID, he’s asymptomatic.
