A furlough question!

Can anyone give any advise.,
If a person works via an agency at a school but due to school closures they are no longer required to work... will they be furloughed?
This is not my situation but I am asking on behalf of someone else!

I think it will depend on if they have an agreed ‘contract’ of how long they are working for or not. Most supply is booked on an as and when basis. It might be different if they have a long term supply contract.
