HR increase

I’m week 6 post positive test. I’ve just started wearing a HR monitor (DH’s Garmin) and my bpm went to 125 from one flight of stairs. Resting HR is 75. Anyone else had the same? My heart feels like it’s pounding and I get lightheaded but it settles back down (the HR) within a minute or so. Although I need a rest for 5 minutes.

I was similar in that any exercise would leave me with a racing heart and no breath left in my body.

I had it in April, and I would say I'm back to normal now (although part of me doesn't think I'm as fit as I was as I seem to tire more easily) but I'm not entirely sure when I got over the worst of it, as it was a very gradual progression.

I just worry about work, out building doesn’t have a lift and I’m regularly up and down stairs. How long until you could manage that?
