Just wondered what everyone has/hasn't got planned and what tier you're in. This isn't a thread to judge, I'm just interested.

We're in tier 2. We only arranged yesterday for my Mum to come up Xmas Eve (with her sat in the lounge extension) as we weren't comfortable with having her but she's on her own. We were going to open presents/a festive drink. Four hours later DH notified he had to isolate. Surprisingly fine with it, although it would have been nice to get a couple of walks in. None of our family friends are seeing eachother so we all have plans to drop off presents at doorstep. My friend is dropping off a present, BIL want come near, other BIL thinking about it. So now lots of eating, drinking, watching films, games and me singing along to xmas carolsGrin

Tier 3, parents in their 70s. Doorstep present drop at PIL’s followed by garden gathering at sister’s with our parents there - so 10 of us in the garden in total. Taking flasks and snacks. First time I won’t be at my parents’ house for Christmas in my life but grateful to be with them.

Tier 3. Dropping off presents at my mum's/in-laws on Christmas Day then coming home and having dinner just the 2 of us.

Tier 3. Was planning to have in-laws round for Xmas day, we have ordered a lovely shellfish platter, turkey, pork (as kids not keen on turkey), some great wines etc. But then the DCs each had a positive case in their class on the last day of term so we have to self isolate until after Boxing Day 😡

Tier 3. We were meant to be seeing family (also tier 3 but 90 mins/2 hours away) today and tomorrow. We didn't fancy spending Christmas day driving so are now doing a walk with one set tomorrow and the others (hopefully) on the 28th unless the tiers change again before then.

Christmas day will be eating, drinking and a bike ride for just the two of us. It will be the first time I've spent Christmas at home since 2001 Shock
