Covid legs anyone?

Im starting to feel better after getting covid. Cough pretty much gone, as has headache and hurting everwhere.

I've pretty much taken to my bed, although ive just lost my mum so thats contributing.

What i have is two legs that feel hollow, like they cant support my weight. I can make it to the toilet and downstairs and thats it, they go to jelly. Its weird and quite worrying. Ill be expected back at work on monday and i have no reserves

It's quite normal not to be ready for work for several weeks after having cv. Dont let the "10 days isolation" or " mild case" thing fool you, even a "mild" case can be utterly vicious.

The worst thing you can do now is over exert yourself, you could set back your recovery by weeks. Rest. Work will have to wait (or if you feel up to it and depending on the nature of your job, you could try doing a bit from bed).

I know exactly what you mean! It nearly three months since I tested positive and my legs still sometimes feel like that. I had two weeks off work when I was really really ill, and I’m sure going back and having to move around the school site (I’m a teacher) has meant that I’ve not got over it like I should have.
I also get these weird feelings like water running down my legs. It’s such a bizarre virus.

I experienced this too. I was off work for 7 weeks and even when I returned I was experiencing this on and off. It's gradually reduced but still there a bit, 12 weeks on, although I also have arthritis and had a big flare up following covid which hasn't helped.

My legs seem to seize in the evening and I get scratchy feelings inside them. Sometimes they twitch a bit at night! Such a weird virus.
