Day 4 how's everyone feeling

Hi all,
I am on day 4 now, test result came positive today. I have a sore throat and fever. Do the health conditions get worse from day 5-10? Anyone on the same boat want to join me... would really help to know some positive stories.

I havent had a positive test (yet, I'm sure it will be) and I'm just sore throat and intermittent fever.

I'm on day 3 and the throat pain has increased over the last couple of hours, but I'm working and on the phone a lot so that may not be helping.

I’ve had a positive test. I started last Wednesday with a fever that lasted a night (I ordered the test whilst fevered). The fever was replaced the next day with a headache, which paracetamol sorted. I posted the test on Friday, lost my sense of taste and smell on Saturday and got a positive test yesterday. My only other symptom is tiredness.

Confirmed positive this morning. Sore throat from hell and a minor temp but feel fine otherwise.

@SpnBaby1967 Ohh I have a sore throat too and fever that keeps spiking every 10 hours..
@AtlantaGinandTonic good to know your only symptom left is tiredness. My fever initially was just one day but it came back with a vengeance on Day 3.

My fever is staying down itself now, so using paracetamol just for sore throat pain. Hoping it'll feel improved tomorrow.

@ShopoholicIn thank you, I hope you’re on the mend soon! It might be in my mind but my sense of smell may be coming back. Still knackered but can’t complain!

Wondered how you were all feeling now? I tested positive Sunday and started with a headache and temperature on Monday morning but didn't feel too bad and cooked tea for my family later that day. Tue had a mild cough. Wed, Thurs had slightly high temperature and felt bit weak sometimes but mostly fine. Christmas Eve nose was congested, had dry mouth and anxious and today have had high temperature, a little over and a little under 38 shaking and have felt rotten, feel sick, can't face eating.

@sundodger I’m now on day 9 and have had my smell and taste back for the past day but I’m still quite tired. My husband and I cooked Christmas dinner and I needed a lie down before I could eat anything! I suspect the fatigue will be the last thing to go. My husband’s still got a bad cough.

I'm glad to hear you managed to cook the Christmas dinner. My boyfriend and four children are about to eat the Christmas dinner he's made for them, he doesn't normally cook. I wish so much I was well
enough to be down there with them.

@AtlantaGinandTonic good you were able to cook the Christians dinner today. Yes u agree it will be the fatigue that will be the last to go. Your smell and taste is back, that's great.
@sundodger. I feel your pain. Surely you will be coming with them soon...xx

As for me, there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of this tunnel. Still having fever and now have nausea and breathlessness. Can't do any derp breathing.. don't know what lies next. It's like one minute you feel better other minute you r having a new symptom and worse off then before. I am on day 7 n no end to their virus

Thank you. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you start to feel better very soon. It's awful isn't it. Up until last night I thought I was getting better. I feel hot and sick too. Some of my symptoms are probably being made worse by anxiety even if it's not really rational I'm finding it hard not to be scared sometimes.

I'm day 6, just feel like I have a bad head cold. Did have some diarrhoea yesterday and this morning.

Still have the sore throat and I cant stay awake more than a couple of hours at a time. I just slept for over 14 hours straight when my usual amount is barely 6. And that is after having had a 2 hour nap just a couple of hours before!

But all in, if this is how the majority of people feel well then I still dont understand all the drama if you're not elderly or CEV.

I think the drama is probably surrounding the 70,000+ people who have lost their lives to it. Including a young colleague of my husband who’s left behind 2 little kids. I’m thrilled your handling it so well though, congrats.
