Tested positive yesterday. No idea where from I've been so careful Sad
Dh coughing a bit today (I don't have a cough).
Do we just cart on? Any special precautions needed aside from masks hand washing etc
I don't want them to get it at all. Dd is already devastated she can't see her dad at Christmas.
Can I cook Christmas dinner? Can they eat it if so? I'm wrapping presents today whilst I feel up to it so can isolate the presents for 3 days before Friday. Anything else I need to think about? This is bloody awful Sad
Disclaimer-I know I'm very lucky to have mild symptoms.

Think about your high touch points, wipe down with disinfectant each time you touch it (you can get an empty spray bottle one part bleach ten parts water and kitchen towel).
So door handles, the loo seat, the flush, cupboards, light switches, fridge door etc taps turn off then disinfect etc this should reduce the risk along with hand washing etc.

Make simple meals wash hands before you start and wash hands before you touch their plates if they are old enough to get the cutlery out themselves.
Do easy quick dinners see how your feeling in a few days before deciding if you want to cook Christmas Dinner!

@PolytheneHam

It isn't much fun, is it? Both me and DH had it in November. DS was ten months old at the time, and T&T's advice was to keep him in his bedroom for ten days. You couldn't make it up.
What????? That's ridiculously bonkers!

I just carried on as normal when I had it including homeschooling dd3. I had a bottle of hand sanitizer in one pocket of my joggers and a disinfectant spray in the other. Just use regularly and cleaning the toilet after use. It’s hard to distance in the same house when you’ve got kids to look after too. Dh was working from home.
