Has anyone tested positive with mild or jo symptoms?

It might be good to hear the less scary side to calm some nerves...

I’m waiting on test results, symptoms are mild so far but have slight cough, chills, waves of fatigue and aches. Ds (5) is snotty nose, cough. Hoping if we are positive it stays like this.

I tested positive yesterday and have similar symptoms as you. My colleagues at work who are a week ahead of me, have had the same and didn't get any worse.
Wishing you well

That’s great news! Thanks for sharing. I think a few tales of mild ad manageable cases will be heartening at the moment. X

Dh tested positive and was fairly ill. My symptoms were so mild that I didn’t even get tested. I got headaches for 3 days then lost my sense of taste and smell and felt very tired.

There was a thread on here from someone who said if they'd not known it was covid they would have just thought they'd had a nastier cold than usual. It's in the coronavirus topic so shouldn't be too difficult to track down.

I tested positive on Thursday after only a slight headache on Wednesday night. Got rested as ds’s primary bubble has burst and lots of asymptomatic kids were being reported. He was one of them. I’ve been tired and achey but still up and about which is a huge relief. Dh has felt a bit rough, and our toddler was very poorly last night with a fever and sickness. But so far it’s nowhere near as bad as I was dreading it would be. We’re as sure as we can be that my mum had it in March and she was incredibly ill for months, this is nothing close to that so far.

7 people here, all mildish symptoms, DD10 very mild dry cold, DS18 only lost sense of smell, no other symptoms, EXDH60 has been quite poorly with low oxygen and exhausted, not as bad as normal flu in my experience (I'm 48)
