Can anyone tell me if they've stopped selling non essential items in welsh shops now? I am short of a few gifts. It isn't the end of the world, the recipients will understand. Just working out where to do the food shop and will base it on if non essential items are banned.

Should have, but you can get them click and collect from big chains or any small local shops set up for it.

I bought clothes etc from Tesco in Swansea yesterday morning but all “non essentials” (wrapping paper is pretty sodding essential 5 days before Xmas imho) in the local Asda was cordoned off. I don’t agree with it at all.
Drakeford on a power trip.
Totally agree with the tier 4. It’s spreading like wild fire here but buying my kids some socks while I do the weekly is going to significantly increase the risk of spread

Is NOT going to significantly increase the risk Xmas Blush

Thanks @MamaTT I agree it is stupid, especially this close to Christmas. Even if he just closed the areas off from boxing day would be something. Grrr. Will go to tesco rather than aldi then and hope for the best.
