Weddings after Easter

We're due to get married right after Easter. I remember Boris saying everything should be fine by then but doubt it. We're in Tier 1 so even then it should be okish.. but I was hoping for 40 guests. What's your best prediction?

It's too soon today, sorry!

But I've always hoped that we would see the start of some easing or restrictions about spring. The combination of the sun getting some strength back (inhibits transmission? maybe?) and the most vulnerable being immunised (limiting factor, manufacturing capability for vaccine)

So whilst I wouldn't count on increases to permitted numbers, I might try to arrange things so they can be scaled up if that's possible earer the time

From everything the government has said, things should be easing up by then but honestly and as hard as it is, I wouldn't get my hopes up right now for it.

It's impossible to day and also naive to think you will remain in T1.

My advice would be to postpone if a larger wedding is what you'd like. Or, have a firm plan B in place for both a small and a tiny wedding.

I wouldn't want to be constantly worrying between now and March which would spoil that lovely build up to your happy day.

We want a small wedding anyways. But we'd like to invite the extra people ASAP. Plus there would be people travelling from abroad

The way it’s going at the moment I would say by Easter weddings will go ahead with maximum 30 people.

Fingers crossed for you Flowers
