Childcare bubbles - the rules?

We live in a tier 3 area, and my parents live in a tier 2 area several hours away. Previously, during school holidays my parents would have travelled to us to provide childcare so DS and I could work. We both need to work between Christmas and new year - I’m self-employed, and DS has no more annual leave. So, are we ok to travel to my parents’ house (as they are our ‘childcare bubble’) and stay overnight, so that we can work from home? The rules around childcare bubbles are so unclear!

I think your dc can stay but probably not you.

@mooncakes but they live too far away for us to not stay over. This is where I think it’s unclear - there are no stipulations on where the childcare bubble can be.
