Single people living alone

For all of you who are single/living alone:

So, I know that we can bubble with another household, but can I ask who's planning on doing it and how?

I'm in Tier 4 planning on staying with my parents and sister (who lives there) in Tier 2. Driving. Just nervous about roads, can there possibly be checks? Am I just being ridiculous?

Not going until next week. I've been isolating since Monday (been off work since then, I can't work from home so have been going in) so will have been for a week before I go down.

@MolyHolyGuacamole. Yes, I live alone, but I just don’t feel it’s in the spirit of the guidance to pretend they are my support bubble, when it’s 3 hours in the car and I haven’t seen them any other time (haven’t seen them for almost a year in fact ☹️).

I’m in a relationship but we don’t live together and we’re not eligible for the support bubble, so if I obey the letter of the law, it’s going to be just me on my own.

Somewhat resurrecting this thread.

I was looking forward to a zoom catch up with a friend tonight but she seems to have stood me up! She has a newish boyfriend so no doubt caught up with that but it disappointing. I gave myself a nice blow dry like we were really meeting up so it makes me a bit sad really.

Can't believe life has been like this for almost a year.
