6 week lockdown in NI from Boxing Day

So disappointing for all the salons etc but I think it’s needed. However, it will be useless unless they also close schools.

If I travel to NI from England for Christmas and bubble with my mum who lives alone, what date do I have to fly back home on?

It’s really not clear if people bubbling for Xmas will have to unbubble on the 26th or not. It says 5 days bubbling unaffected but then how can they also say no mixing households at all?

It’s very confusing. I have a flight booked and not sure how long I can legally stay for now.

I’m unsure about the travel arrangements too as I’ve booked to go to Southern Ireland after Christmas (Done some time ago in a fit of optimism). I think the south will join in to stop an exodus from the north.
An 8 o’clock curfew seems very strange but I suppose it will make the police’s job easier.
Doesn’t say anything about caring for elderly relatives.
