Anyone know? All I can find is Matt Hancock to announce 'later'.

@Honeyroar

I think the motivation is having a NHS that can cope.. Much bigger than Xmas really. And the loosening of rules over Xmas itself.
And which tier are you in?
Honeyroar · 17/12/2020 11:43

Three

kittensarecute · 17/12/2020 11:44

Oh god, I'm nervous, I hope we don't move to tier 3.

Here we go....

Bushola · 17/12/2020 11:47

I’d expect all regions to go to 3 if not today by end end of the month.

PurpleDaisies · 17/12/2020 11:47

I wonder if there’s going to be another big website crash

RedToothBrush · 17/12/2020 11:48

Tom Parmenter @TomSkyNews

There is an article that has just appeared on the BBC News website which confirms that hospitals were busier this time last year, than they are now.

Heatheronthehill · 17/12/2020 11:50

Staffordshire still in tier 3 then? Gutted no curry out for us on Christmas day 😢

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 17/12/2020 11:54

Does the North even get thought about in Govt?

This is bullshit. One of areas announced drooping to tier 2 has higher case rates than several Manchester boroughs!

RedToothBrush · 17/12/2020 11:55

Yes. And there was never any chance of it changing. Numbers are dreadful.
