Hi all,

I'm from Wales and due to go on a trip from 26th of December to 29th to a tier 2 area. Wales goes in to full lockdown on the 28th but I do have a letter that excuses my travel from my work.

Am I worth just cancelling the trip altogether? I'm just confused as the rules are basically "cancel if you can but don't worry if not" and I can't cancel.

I don't want to be 'THAT' person who breaks rules but can't really afford to lose money either. This trip was planned back in January as well before anyone pipes up Confused

If it’s work then it’s acceptable. Obviously they’d like you to stay put in your area, but they know people have to travel for work.

It’s a work trip. There’s no issue.
