Constant isolation

Just wondering how others are coping with the constant isolations if you have multiple kids at school. I have 3 at primary school and We’ve just finished 4 weeks of isolation (2 weeks back to back) then get a message from my daughters class saying we need to isolate again 😐 thankfully she hasn’t been in school so doesn’t apply to use but that would have been almost 6 weeks in constant isolation. Anyone else getting constantly told to isolate?

I have 2 kids at school but there's only been 1 isolation for ds. At least isolation has reduced now to 10 days

We’ve had four weeks. We went out once a day for walks in the nearby hills. I’m waiting waiting another call to say we’re back in isolation. It’s desperate.

This would have been our 3rd so glad she wasn’t in! 10 days does make it a bit easier.

My youngest was meant to go to preschool this year I’m glad I decided against it, with 4 at school we would have probably been on permanent isolation 😬

Yes we’ve done back and back and now my child tested positive half way through self isolation! 😫

I didn't think we were allowed to go out for walks?

Day 10 here, and super excited to get out tomorrow.

Definitely feels like Groundhog Day.

Ozzie9523 oh no I was thinking with one it might not be too bad as less “chance” of needing to isolate iyswim, but 3 isolations Shock it really feels never ending at the moment!

Only the child needs to isolate not the whole family so why are you saying "we"?

Givemeabreak88 · 14/12/2020 15:48

Single parent, child has autism so can’t be left alone (my children are all aged under 10, oldest 2 both have asd) wish we didn’t all have to all isolate Sad
