Self isolation notification

Self-isolation notification came up when I tried to check-in somewhere. Does it not come up unless you try and check in somewhere or would it be just chance that it came up then? Is only for 5 days so can I assume the contact was quite a while ago? Will be following the guidance. Thanks

I will double check notifications thanks. I am on maternity leave so am fortunate that it is a bit easier for me to isolate than some.

I have the app and the other day i went to check in somewhere and it wasn’t connected (contact tracing had turned itself off) so maybe that what happened?

I don’t know OP, I only found out I needed to isolate when I randomly happened to open the app, no notifications so lucky I did.

Oh really. That is lucky you checked I checked and have notifications on.

That’s a bit rubbish really isn’t it? How do you check if you have notifications on please?
