Possible exposure

Received a message about an hour ago. It popped up from the NHS app and said exposure. I couldn't see the rest of the message so opened the app to which said message is no where to be seen!
From reading online I know there was a bug and I'm not sure which version of the app I had! If you received this message how long was it before you received this apparent second message telling you what you needed to do next?
Any help for a panicked person would be great right now!!!!

I had a very brief message pop up on my phone that said this with no follow-up at all, which was apparently the glitch with the APP. I figured that I would have had further messages if it was real.

If you go into the app and there is nothing there telling to isolate then you can ignore the phantom message
