On a slightly different topic, have Ocado stopped anniversary gifts? I used to get one around this time of year but haven't had an email yet. (Didn't get one last year as I wasn't getting their emails.)

bloody bbc - barely a mention of the issue that haulage firms simply aren't bringing things over here too. It's a perfect storm brewing.

I just hope that the weather models for about 10 days time are wrong. Because snow in the SE won't help.

My anniversary is early December and I got the gift email at the end of December, with the voucher valid from 01 Jan. So if yours is this month, you might get it in a couple of weeks.

Didn't the anniversary gifts all get delayed then offered at the same time last year due to covid?

I got an email about stuff being out of stock.

No stock email here, just the veganuary crap. I mean come on ocado do you not think life is shit enough without wanting me to give up a juicy steak?

To be fair it's not clear at all, I remember checking a shop years ago and seeing the same and getting annoyed but they did turn up!

Charlie Bigham chicken tikka substituted for M&S ready meal yet again! Can anyone successfully get Charlie Bigham meals?

Yes I got the M&S chicken tikka instead of Charlie Bigham on the last two deliveries. The M&S one is a microwaved ready meal at half the price so really not the same.

Hmm will probably order a Bighams this week (if in stock) so will let you know. We don't eat a lot of ready meals but there is just something so indulgent about their Tikka. I wouldn't be impressed with a sub!

Ocado have renewed my smart pass and kept it at £2.99. I'm not complaining but I do think it's cheeky they have been saying to people they don't do any discount on the £9.99 standard fee!

Me either. I think mine is possibly the Cheshire depot, maybe it's not all grim up north then 😂

The email isn’t just about stock shortages, it’s all about bags not being collected and what to do if you are isolating and that. The shortages are mentioned at the bottom.

Well, this weeks delivery was fine despite the warning. Only 2 subs out of an order of about 80 items, and they were only for the some product, different brand (satsumas and coconut milk).
