My DD has to self isolate for 14 days. Is she allowed to go to her dads for the weekend if she is showing no symptoms?

I believe so. Not travelling on public transport though.

Unfortunately not.

We did though.

That's confusing!! We are all on tier 2

They were allowed to go during lockdown, between their two households. But whilst self isolating they are supposed to stay put.

However, we carried on. It was the only way of juggling work, sibling school runs etc. In our case dad lives nearby and alone. Even school and LA told us it was allowed, too. I didn’t know it wasn’t until later on when we had already been doing it.

Let me see if I can find the guidance for you

No, she's not supposed to leave the house!
