This dry continuous cough?

What exactly does that mean?

I have a very phelgmy cough which I was certain couldn't be "the" cough, but I've just has a positive test result.

The guidelines now just talk about a new continuous cough. A covid cough is more likely to be dry, but could also be phlemy. Hope you feel better soon, OP.
