Do positive results come back quicker?

24 hours since my test and no results . DH tested positive yesterday and had already had his results by this point. Does anyone know if the positive results get sent out first?

My negative test came back by email after 13 hours. The text came in six hours after the email.

My last test (negative) came back in 12 hours.

I don’t think there’s a pattern. It just depends on how busy the lab is.

How would they, unless they know which ones are positive before they go to the lab?!

Not in my experience it took 39 hours for my last test to come back , it was positive.
I had had a previous negative result back quicker.

How does it work then? I assume they would put batches of positive/negatives together then contact them

But I have zero idea how it works

Our negative test took 8 hours.

That's what I was about to say! No one would need testing if they could do that!

52 hours for my positive result to come back.

Nope. I had results back for two people one negative, one positive at the same time.

No. My step brothers son got his positive result back 5 days after he'd been tested.

We got our positive and negative results back at the same time - took about 30 hours (from drive through).

Ours all came back same time, 1 positive and 3 negative x

We've had six tests in this house since the summer, all negative or inconclusive. The results took between 11 hours and 3 days.

Nope, had a negative test result take about 30 hours and a positive result take almost 6 days!

1 positive and 1 negative, received at the same time just short of 24 hours later.

26 hours for us so far and no result yet.
