Help finding old thread about psychological issues about wearing a mask

Some time ago, possibly during the summer, there was a thread about problems the OP had about wearing a mask as it reminded her of when she had been attacked involving a hand over her mouth.

There was a lovely poster on this thread who had some really helpful things to say. There was an explanation given as to why the OP reacted in the way she did to masks, it wasn't PTSD but something to do with the way the brain and/or nervous system kicked in about learned behaviours. Or something like that. Her theory really struck a chord with me regarding something completely unrelated over which I have a massive amount of fear.

Can anyone help me locate it?

I don't know if it's the one you're looking for but I had a traumatic experience in my school days and found some suggestions on this one helpful enough to save - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3969607-Face-masks-and-shopping
