My daughters college friends parents tested positive with covid on Friday her friends is now staying home but they are breaking up on Friday early for Christmas. The friend has said this morning she is feeling achey so has book a test.
My daughter got up this morning and said she felt sick then walked into the kitchen and fainted her friend has told her that that's how her dad was dizzy and feeling sick and she said she should get a test.
My daughter does have low blood pressure and is on a period at the moment. The friend's mum started feeling ill last Tuesday and got a test the results came on Friday. They was at college together last week only in 1 class what are the chances of her getting it and if her friends test positive and my daughter has to stay home can my other children go to school.
Any advice

Thanks
Sal

Given there are covid positive cases in her year, I would get her tested. I think you can ask for the test to be mailed to you if it helps.

If your dd's friend is positive your dd isolates as a close contact but your other dc don't.
There's no way of knowing likelihood of infection. I know people who've been in close contact with a positive person who haven't got it and others in fleeting contact who have.
Just get your dd tested if she gets symptoms.
