TTC and vaccine

So normally i would be first in line to getting the new vaccine. I have a husband who is high risk and a father who is in the clinically vulnerable category.

However, my DH and i are planning to start IVF in January and for various reasons we really don't want to wait 6 months to a year before we start. I am quite overweight though (trying to spend this time getting it down) but otherwise healthy and have no underlying issues.

My family think i shouldn't get the vaccine as not been proven safe on pregnant women on impact on future feotuses which i agree with. All my family are very pro vax so will be getting vaccinated asap.

But it's still leaving me very anxious. what are your thoughts on vaxxing when TTC

You need proper medical advice, probably from the clinic. We don't know if the vaccine stops people from transmission and if that's the case then it might be pointless you getting it.

Are your family in medical occupations? Public health England will be giving more advice on this.

No they're not. I am also worried about me getting it either during the TTC process or when i am pregnant (and my weight is likely to increase too)
