Should I test?

Throughout the pandemic I've only ever thought of testing as necessary for those with the key symptoms (loss of smell/taste, cough, temp).

I'm feeling very "off colour" - dizzy and nauseous for the last 24 hours, very sore throat, glands up, chilled.

Normally I'd write this off, however I've seen mention in the odd thread or in others talking about the dizzy/sickness being a symptom too.

Would you test if you were me?

Do you have the Zoe app? If you put in those symptoms, it will prompt you to get a test.

I think testing capacity has increased now so that people are beginning to get tests with more than just the 3 main symptoms

Oh I forgot I had that app. I've logged how I'm feeling and it hasn't prompted me to test.

I normally get an email the next morning inviting me to test. It doesn’t happen immediately. Personally if I had those symptoms I would get a test - even though it’s wasn’t the 3 listed

I've managed to get a walk through slot at my local site in 30mins.
