Have the vaccines started?

1st December so I expected the news and social media to be alight with the vaccines starting to be given today but I can't find any reports. Unless I've just missed them? Anyone heard anything?

No not yet. Waiting for approval from the MHRA.

Oh really, so when they said 1st December they didn't actually know for certain it would be ready. Have they said how much longer?

Nope.

Not approved yet. Probably will be very soon though.

The Govt always stressed it was subject to approval and that they would be ready to role out the vaccine(s) IF approved.

The rumour is the MHRA is going to approve the Pfizer vaccine this week and then rollout can start from the 7th

No - sometime this week hopefully. There will be a huge amount of information to review, and they won’t approve it until everything is reviewed and to the MHRA’s satisfaction.
