Will Xmas markets be allowed to sell mulled wine?

Our market has been cancelled. Can imagine stalls could still sell it though?

AnyFucker · 30/11/2020 13:09

Is there something specific about mulled wine that makes it a vector of Covid-19 ?

BernieInn · 30/11/2020 13:18

I'd start with a preliminary question first - is there going to be a Christmas market?

ImNotCutOutForThis · 30/11/2020 13:35

Our market is cancelled. But some pubs are allowing mini markets in their car parks.

JellyMouldJnr · 30/11/2020 13:37

our village school has cancelled the Christmas fair but is selling mulled wine in the playground at a 'star trail' event instead. Does that answer your question?

BackforGood · 30/11/2020 14:49

Which country are you in ?
Which tier are you in ?
This will help people know what the answers might be.

Wales have announced this morning pubs can't sell alcohol Hmm
In my City the Christmas Market was cancelled months ago, in terms of crowds gathering and not being able to social distance.

LizzieMacQueen · 30/11/2020 14:57

I think OP is asking as it falls under 'selling alcohol' which is not permitted in certain tiers unless served with a substantial meal. Don't think a bratwurst hot dog counts.

So I can drink unlimited mulled wine in a pub car park but if I want lager in the beer garden I'm only allowed one and I have to order it with a substantial meal? Hmm
