hi all
my dad works in a school (this is relevant as him and my mum provide my childcare whilst I work). my two cousins (primary) attend this school. their mum has just rung me and said shes recieved an email saying the two kids need to self isolate as their has been a postive COVID case. my dad teaches one of their year groups but not their class. my mum doesn't know anything but now doesnt k now if she wants to risk looking after my 1 year old this afternoon whilst I have a meeting as shes not sure if dad will need to self isolate too.
I know everywhere is probably different but is it usual that the whole year has to isolate? or will it just be their class?
and also, my cousins are in different year groups. are they both having to self isolate because they live together or does this suggest that the whole school is likely to of been hit?
so confused and the email is frustratingly vague (although I understand why).
thanks!
