Woke not feeling 100% (sore itchy throat and blocked ears) and so my anxiety is bad.
I'm extremely overweight (BMI 38), in mid 40's, diabetic and mild asthma.
Currently WFH, trying to loose more weight so walking 5/6 miles a day (hoping to increase it).
Today a friend of the family passed way. Bit bigger than me but no other issues so just panicking again about my chances.
Does anyone know anyone overweight, elderly, poorly who's just had it mild?
Did anyone start with just a itchy throat and blocked ears. I've two children at school.
Thanks

Hey lovely,
Try not to panic too much... chances are you just have a cold! I think it's still only 10% of the population that have had covid, it's far more likely to be a cold. Plus even if it is covid I'm willing to bet you'll come out of it completely fine xxx

Was this person much older than you? Was it covid?
I'm a worrier so know how hard it is to try and be reasonable with yourself.
I recently had a cold. Sore throat, blocked nose it's still doing the rounds.

You probably have a cold so try not to panic x

Age is by far the biggest risk factor, then gender. You're in yr 40s and probably female (on MN) so at low risk.

10 years older. Yes covid.
Yes I'm female.
Thanks for replies.
