How to get tested whilst in isolation?!

I'm self isolating because one of my DC tested positive. I have now developed symptoms but don't know how I'm supposed to get tested. I'm not supposed to leave the house, so even if I get a home test I don't know how to send it off without breaking isolation. Driving to the testing facility seems like a bad idea as of have to take 2 of my 3 DC with me as they're too young to be left. Am I missing something? I honestly don't know what to do for the best, Google has failed me and I can't think properly because of a dreadful headache. Any ideas?

You're allowed to post your test off. At a testing centre you don't leave the car

You’re allowed to leave the house to go for a test or to get to a suitable post box to send a home test off.

Sorry your not feeling well. We ordered a postal test and drove to the post box to drop it off when we were isolating. It’s an essential journey.

You are allowed to leave the house to go to the nearest pox box.
If oldest DC is old and sensible enough, I would get them to do it for you to avoid 3 of you going out.

Going for a test is the the exception to the rule of ‘don’t leave your house’

Thanks all. Have booked a test at a drive through. I'll have to take the youngest ones with me. My nearest pox box (ha!) is further than the bloody test site so drive through best option. I feel shocking too.
