Peer pressure over bubbles

Anyone else getting peer pressure to join a bubble over Christmas because "it's allowed" and "this might be your grans last one" (ironic eh?).

I'm asthmatic and followed the rules since March. It's horrible I know and we haven't seen some of my family on my DH side who lives abroad for over a year now. But I'm kinda getting sick of being told by family and friends that I am being too careful. My mother for example suggesting that it's her choice and her risk to meet people. What about me and my family?

"It's allowed" and "we will need to learn to live with this" are two phrases really starting to annoy me.

We are so so close with a vaccine. Why take any risk now?

It will just be the three of us this year and I'm happy with that. Trying to make it as magical as possible for our DD.
