Swabs for babies/toddlers

Does your area have smaller swabs that work for smaller children/babies?

Previous tests we've had were long skinny swabs, the new ones are much bigger and don't actually fit up DSs nose.

Is anyone else having this issue. Is there anything I could do?

Do you have any drive thru testing places??
Only other thing I can this is calling 111

Also I thought with children you didnt necessarily have to go up the nose but get their tonsils??

Thanks, we were told just nose not tonsils at this one but have swabbed tonsils previously. Unfortunately he has a very sensitive gag reflex and threw up. Then we had a sicky baby had to re-swab. Unfortunately it looks like 2 weeks of isolation for what is probably not covid. DH will probably loose the job he's just started.
