How poorly was your positive young child/toddler?

Currently waiting for my 2 year olds results, she’s getting no better, in fact worse.
3rd day of fever, no other symptoms apart from being lethargic abs off of her food, no energy.
Temp has been spiking at 39.5 in the night, was 38.8 on waking this morning.
For what I’ve mostly heard, children aren’t getting v sick from Covid so I’m wondering if it is Covid or could be some other kid of infection, UTI or whatever.
If you had a small child that tested positive how sick were they? And for how long?
I hate just sitting waiting for the results and seeing her getting worse x

I’m sorry to hear this and hope she improves.

My toddler was totally asymptomatic, but my baby had a cough and was very grouchy. Ended up and A and E as she was inconsolably screaming and 111 sent us. However she was fine within a few days, and hopefully if yours has covid she will be too.

Best of luck Flowers
