What is really better for businesses? This constsnt back and forth opening and closing or a large-scale lockdown like Melbourne had?

Personally finding the 4 week lockdown and then opening up next week (according to current reports) just stressful tbh. Jan is often a depressing month for me anyway and surely we will be locking down again?

This yoyo effect is so demoralising and must be for lots of businesses! Or is this preferred?

I mean the Melbourne one was depressing but now they're back open and might be able.to live normally until vaccinnes happen.

I completely understand what you mean. It must be very worrisome to have the uncertainty about when closures may happen.

I think the problem with the stricter style lockdowns is they still don’t ‘prevent’ the second wave, just delay it. So either way if lockdown is seen as the answer it makes things extremely difficult for business.

Yep I think we will back again in January! I think this is worse.
