How long did your recent test results take?

Had a test on Friday at 9.30 in a drive through centre and still not received the results?
Can I ask if this is an abnormally long time or not?
At the centre I was told 24-48 hours??

First one September 5 days
Second one Nov 11 - 26 hrs , both drive through.

DH last week 26 hrs
DD 24 hrs

Daughter had one in drive through at 2pm yesterday and we got the negative result at 10.30 this morning.

I have them weekly and get them in 48 hours

Had test first thing Saturday morning, got results about 36 hours later- Sunday evening

I had my test at Friday 10.30am. Just had my negative result back at around 8pm tonight (Sunday).

28 hours

Put a postal test in the post box at 4pm yesterday. Results back about 4pm today.

Under an hour, negative, I got it in Liverpool

35 hours for my DS, southeast and came back positive.

19:hours this weekend

Tues 6pm was told up to 72 hours but came back 2pm the following day

48 hours

15 hours on Thursday (result received during the early hours of Friday morning)

DS tested on Sat 10.30am at a drive in.

Results back (positive ) 9pm Sunday.

Still no result. 72 hours later! Told nothing can be done unless it’s 5 days with no result.

Last week ours took 68 hours (just under 3 days). We were told not to chase until 5 days. It felt like a LONG time. Thankfully the results were negative!

Around 19hours for my DS results. Test at 1pm yesterday and recieved results 8am this morning

Is there any difference in turnaround time for +ve and -ve tests? Was hoping mine would be back within 24hrs but looking unlikely now. And I've got no bloody food in apart from some frozen waffles and an aged steak!

10 days ago it was less than 24 hours. I was back again today with the same child and they said if you haven’t heard after 24 hours then ring the number on the card to chase up the results.

Really? Where are you, @Thatwentbadly - I am greater London (just). Kind of don't want to pester the T&T folks.

Ah ok thanks. Maybe it varies by area. Only stats I can find are weekly by country.... I would usually be bothered but my kids arent with me at the moment (with dad) and cant come home until I get the all clear. This is all such a bloody pain in the ass. Although I know many have it much worse!

We got a positive and a negative test back for DS and DH at the same time - 33 hours later.

24 hours. Speedy.
