Surely when restrictions ease on 3rd December cases will rise again before Christmas?

Like a lot of people I am fed up of lockdown and various restrictions. Reading the headlines this morning it looks like from 3rd December lockdown will finish and we will go back into tiers - pubs, restaurants opening, people being able to socialise in larger groups - surely won’t we then see an increase in cases before Christmas if not surely after? In March we had a much longer and stricter lockdown and had the good weather on our side - I can’t help think after these 4 weeks if he opens everything up as normal as it’s Christmas people will go mad and we ll be in a worse situation?! I definitely want a ‘normal’ Christmas , I’m just confused!

Of course they will - but the restrictions shouldn’t have been imposed anyway
