Feeling so unwell is it possible?

Good evening everyone,
I’m worried I’ve got COVID. My dd (4) got sent home Tuesday because someone in her class bubble was/is positive. She’s been fine so far. I started with a slight head ache and sore throat Thursday. Yesterday I felt worse my head was killing. Today I feel shocking. Throat no better my head is killing again and I feel so so sick. I’m not usually one to get Ill I feel honestly horrendous. Everyone I know who’s had it/knows someone who’s had says it feels like a never ending hangover. I haven’t lost taste or smell and I have no cough or temp. Should I get tested?

I had the following: runny/bunged up nose/headache (mild)/chills/nausea/loss of appetite. Lost sense of taste/smell around 5 days later, and then the exhaustion/tiredness kicked in.

After I received the positive result, I read the list of symptoms, all of the above were there, I personally thought it was a cold, as it was a similar presentation.

I think ANY symptom of being unwell should be tested. My concern is, that going forward in the Winter period, people will think they 'just' have a coldConfused,

Your niece started feeling worse a week later? Oh
Gosh I hope that’s not the case for me.

I’ve just read that everything is opening back up again. Gosh I don’t know what to think about it all. I just wish this thing would disappear 🥺.

Which country is this?

Doesn’t matter anyway, the point is you need to stay home and look after yourself, I hope your head is better. Flowers

I also felt worse a week later. Fatigue kicked in and wiped me out!

Yeah sounds like covid. Like the worst hangover with awful constant headaches and spinny head, I felt really sick and barely ate for 2 weeks, plus a horrible cough but that started later. My 2yo never got any symptoms but all the rest of us had it. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah my OH had Covid. His symptoms were extreme fatigue, bad headache, loss of taste, extreme dizziness and nausea. For the first 3-4 days he couldn't lift his head off his pillow. Yesterday his taste started to come back. I Spoke to him on Tuesday and he sounded shocking. Could barely manage more than 5 mins before he was breathless and exhausted again. Either I've been extremely lucky because we were together for a couple of days and in close contact less than 2 metres apart inside my car and we kissed and cuddled. Or I've had a false negative on my Covid test. I've had a slight loss of taste, aching muscles, dizzy actually had to go back to bed the other day because of it, sore throat and a headache. Headache for me isn't unusual though I seem to get those most days
