To get a test?

Genuinely not sure whether to book a test or not. Started coming down with what felt like the beginning of a cold last night - sniffling, etc.

Woke up this morning the same but things tasting odd - but again put this down to the fact that my nose was blocked. However now the blocked nose has pretty much disappeared am am finding breathing feels a bit heavy - went to walk the dog (back field private) and was struggling. However no cough at all, and as I say even sense of taste could have been due to blocked nose.

For context I wfh, and have literally been out once this week to the supermarket - that’s it! Started feeling unwell the day after.

Best to get a test to be on the safe side

A change in your sense of taste could be a flag - get a test. This will either put your mind at rest or mean you can isolate to prevent passing it on.

Booked in for today thanks. Now a bit panicked about the food shopping, dog walking etc, but guess will need to cross that bridge when I come to it.
