DS tested positive on Friday. He’s fine well and good, coughed for about two minutes it seemed and that’s it. We have self isolated since then (he was a contact of a positive test and had been self isolating since Tuesday and on Friday lunch started to cough so booked a test within the hour)

I began to cough Saturday. Tested and was negative. I am now not well at all. Really coughing feel shocking. Zoe has suggested I test again and I’ve done that today. Assuming it’s positive, what day am I on?! I don’t know which day to give to test and trace as I was at work Friday when DS got symptoms. If Saturday was the start of symptoms then I’d need to give everyone in the office. But because I tested negative Saturday is it likely I had it then? Or too early to say?
Gah. So confusing. Of course I could test negative still which would be great but the way I’m feeling is it’s not likely...

I would go with Saturday, sorry! However are you not social distancing in work? You only name people if you are less than 2m away for more than 15 mins or less than 1m for 1min.

I hope you feel better soon Flowers

Test and trace will decide for you if you explain it all.

First day of your symptoms so despite negative test I would say Saturday

We are sat in an office ‘socially distancing’ on desks 2m away but sat there all day.

Husband is positive. Looking very likely! Boss has said he doesn’t need to be listed as a contact as I didn’t have symptoms on Friday. Honestly. I work for the government you’d think they’d be on top of it?!
