What is the likelihood of this? And hotels/air b&bs being open?
I haven’t seen my parents since July as our area (West Yorkshire) has had some sort of restrictive measures since then. They live in Essex. They haven’t seen my son since then and have missed his 2nd birthday last month. I was really hoping after the lockdown is lifted on 2nd December that they’d be able to come and see us and we could exchange presents etc. I didn’t think they’d be able to stay with us so I’ve found a secluded air b&b (we live in a rural area) that they can stay in. Now I’m not even sure about travel or hotels etc being open 
feeling extremely gutted reading this post and replies.
