Eye symptoms

So my DD11 woke up with a slightly swollen lower eyelid and a sore eye in one eye (no redness to the eye itself, just the eyelid, no change to vision). No fever, no other symptoms.

I assumed it was blepharitis which I've had before and so cleaned her eye and sent her off to school with a dose of junior ibuprofen and instructions to tell a teacher if it got any worse.

I'm now starting to wake up (slept dreadfully) and worrying I should have kept her off and tested as it can be a symptom of COVID in kids?

I wouldnt worry. When I had COVID I had a day of red, sore, watery eyes but it was the eyeball itself not the lid.

That's a relief, thanks! I hate this wondering if every little symptom I'd usually ignore could be COVID...
