Two DCs tested this afternoon after developing coughs. We went to a nearby test centre. This is the second time they've been tested - I was tested alongside them about six weeks ago after we all got coughs. Results then came back after about 40 hours, but I think we were lucky then, I read about people waiting almost a week.
How are testing times at the moment? Just trying to plan work a little, as obviously we're staying in until we're allowed to leave. Hoping for negative results and back to school/work quickly.

@Squigglypig2
Typical, the longest one is the place nearest to me! We live SE London, went to a test centre on the very edge of SE London.
Encouraging that a lot of the others are taking much less time though. I know of kids at the school who have missed whole weeks waiting for their result. And none that I know have been positive.
BathTangle · 15/11/2020 18:47
Posted my test on Friday afternoon. Got the result just now, so just over 48 hours.

I had my test at 9:30 on a Tuesday morning (not last Tuesday the one before) and had my results at 5am on the Wednesday. My FIL had a test an hour later on the same day (different test centre) and got his results at 4 pm the following Monday!
Both negative.

Tested this Thursday at 11.30 and got results Friday afternoon 14.30. We are in a hot spot. Not bad but had a quicker turnaround during the summer it was about 16 hours!
