Omg. A friend actually said this to me in a WhatsApp convo.

She doesn't follow the news or anything because it's all so pathetic!
She has done t nothing but moan that the things her dc enjoys is closed. That she needs to Xmas shop etc. Very materialistic. She's also in the vulnerable category for underlying issues and obese with a bminof over 47. She said she won't get it because she washes her hands when home!

Anyway she's ranting as her dc has had a hissy fit because they can't go to soft play and their bored.

I said we'll u til cases lower its likely to stay shut. She said we'll people need to stop testing then when they feel unwell then the government will think cases are low and open things
She's also one that purchased a sunflower lanyard because masks make her hot.
I mean wtf.
It's crap for everyone.
My dcs are driving me a bit nuts today as stuck in and so wet we can't go to the park even but that's life! We'll get crafts out.

I really hope no one else thinks like it.

but people couldn't test in march, didn't work then wont work now.

Realistically the only way to stop spread is everyone stays home until a proper vaccine!!!!!

As thick as the government are, they wouldn't be fooled by an artificial drop in the number of positive tests - the rate of hospitalisations and deaths would still speak for themselves.

Just stop getting tested! If you get a test you're part of the problem! Don't get tested just stay home if you have symptoms or you're selfish keeping the rest of us in lockdown!

It's absolutely pathetic. I also know a few people personally who won't wear a mask despite not having any health conditions that would prevent them for doing so. And yes I know this because they told me! Our headteacher is constantly reminding parents to pop a mask on at drop off a pick up times. There's about 3 parents including myself who have done so. Many are shouting their children from outside the yard so the teacher can't ask them to put one on. This makes it impossible to get past them on the path resulting in a huge cluster of parents and children in the street.

I suppose it's always nice to have the opportunity to think you're better than someone isn't it OP?
