I work at a mental health unit and we have weekly testing. My test results came back yesterday reading positive. I haven't got any symptoms...but have an impending sense of doom waiting for symptoms to start.. feels like I'm on tenterhooks though trying to not be. My BMI is 40 or just over and I'm a single parent to a 7yr old...

Lots of people are asymptomatic. Or could be a false positive.

Just do what you’ve been told to do re isolating. Hopefully you won’t get symptoms and will be fine.

You’re probably going to be fine, how long ago was the test? Chances are if you were going to be really unwell with it, symptoms would have started by now. Just isolate, stay calm, contact your contacts in case t&t haven’t got round to it, drink plenty and relax

You will be fine. Please don't worry! Chance are very very low now ... most likely you will remain asymptomatic

Ah thanks for the positive support. The test took place on Tuesday. I have done my own track and trace, contacting people directly along with the official system, just to be on the safe side.

Chances are you are fine and it will be mild. Make sure you look after yourself as much as you can - eat well, rest where possible, as much sleep as possible etc. Good luck!

Where my son works 6 out of 30 were tested positive, but only one had mild symptoms. They all had private tests from the company after the one with mild symptoms tested positive.

Take care of yourself and not to worry, difficult I know.

It's such a peculiar virus...the varied responses that people have to it are quite astonishing.
