Please be gentle - Wednesday I got a bad sore throat n headache I’ve been self isolating since then n the symptoms have got worse with bad chest pain, vertigo and terrible exhaustion. I do cough but not persistently and my temperature isn’t much higher than normal
I work overseas n I know I’ve been in close contact with multiple covid cases in the last two weeks. I can’t register for a test, I’m not registered with a doctor and they have stopped home testing.
Should I assume this is covid? I don’t want my employers to think I’m making it up but literally can’t walk out of the apartment. I think I just need someone to tell me I’m going to be ok

Are you in the UK? You can order a home test and post it back we did this last week.

But yes if you have been in contact with positive cases you should isolate for 14 days regardless.

Hope you feel better soon.

No I’m not in the Uk :(

Do the doctors there have a similar set up to the UK so you could register as an emergency patient? I appreciate that there may be costs involved but I would be surprised if the country you’re currently in don’t have something in place. No one wants covid getting out of hand because people don’t seek medical attention.

I would assume that it is yes but assuming you are young and healthy I'm sure you'll be fine.
Is there no way at all you can get a test? Will your employer take your word for it if you say it's covid?
