Temp 37.6

Hi, son has woke up temp is 37.6, would you send to school?

. I believe the guidelines specify a temp of 38 or above as a reason for a test. However I’d be tempted to keep him off incase it rises.

Does he feel unwell, why did you do his temp?

No. Something is probably brewing. I'd get a test.

Depends on what is normal for him. For one daughter, no, as her natural temperature is a little raised so I would only keep off for a 'proper' fever of 37.8 and above. Even at 37.8 she would feel fine but in the current context I would keep her off. For the other daughter, her natural temperature is low so anything above about 37.3 is high for her and I would keep her off as at that temperature she would feel unwell. All this assuming of course no other symptoms
