Hot legs

I have been boiling hot for several days, especially my legs and feet, they are burning up. I am used to this being perimenopausal but normally just at night, it is carrying on all day too. No temperature is showing on the thermometer, the only other symptom I have is a sore throat. Has anyone else experienced this? Wondering whether to get a test as I work in a school.

None of those symptoms are the main symptoms for Covid 19 though.

No, the reason I ask is that my friend has recently tested positive and had none of the 3 main symptoms, no cough, temperature etc, just mild flu-like symptoms. Also a whole school bubble has recently been closed again after a positive case with no symptoms. If I didn't work in a school I would probably leave it.
